Polyester tape (PET tape) – the tape is based on polymers, an excellent alternative for steel tape, that is why it is the most widely used for product packaging. PET tape  is strong and light, due to its resilience to shock loads it is highly competitive to the steel tapes. Additionally, PET tape is quite cheap to manufacture.
